Today I was up early and went for a short walk. On Sunday I am not out for exercise but l like to breathe he fresh air and appreciate the scenery. The little culdesac I like to circle on Sunday morning is just below our place and has no traffic, is quiet, and well maintained. The flowers are nice to.
There is an old sugar factory just below this area. You can’t get real close but you can ger an idea. Remember all the huge chimneys back home by those sugar factories.
Today was district conference, the equivalent of stake conference. We watched most of it on zoom as the meeting was held on the island of Terceira. We had a simple lunch. Tossed salad, chilli and rice, and bread. For desert I had made a cake, with Carmel frosting.
After cleaning up we went to Ribeira Grande and participated in a lesson with a woman who is from Brasil and who speaks english.she has a five year old daughter who grandma really likes cause she can talk with her. We came home and made calls home, what a nice day. We love you all.
