Today is an anniversary for us. Two years ago we boarded the plane in salt lake for Portugal. What an adventure we have been part of. This morning it was cold 50 degrees cold. With the breeze that was blowing I was grateful to have my sweatshirt on. We walked down to the old military fort arriving in time to watch them training. They really sort of jog in place when they march around.
We walked along the coast line to the swimming area. I was not expecting to see swimmers but there they were. There are some tough old birds here.
Hard to pick them out in the pictures. We went by the farmers market for our weekly purchases. I really enjoy just being out and about. One of those small utility pickup trucks passed full of flowers. It is interesting how when I look at my daily pictures this blog sort of writes itself. We used some time in study and then went out. We drove to several places and people are always talking to us. It still surprises me when strangers just start talking to me. Usually they actually try grandma first, but who can blame them. We came home and i made dinner a bit late. We still are all over the place when it comes to eating times here. Many nights around 9:00 we smell wonderful food being prepared for supper. I always tease they should invite us to dinner. We had a good day. We love you all.

What caut my eye in your pictures was the cannon but it is a Fort is the water temperature warmer than the air temperature so it is comfortable to swim
It is nice to be out and about and explore. I love the exploring you do and the time you have to be missionaries. We would probably be in the water too if we were there visiting right now. We woke up to -10 weather this morning so 50 degrees sounds really nice right now. I love you!
Wow! people would have to be tough to go swimming in that cold water, Brrr! I just love seeing the flowers there their so unique and beautiful. Caleb loved seeing the soldiers and that is so cool that you got to see them warm up. Those trees look like the whomping willow in Harry Potter. I love you guys! Love Ashley!
