Wednesday February 16

When I got up this morning I looked out the kitchen window and saw a cruise ship all lit up go by on it’s way to the harbor.

Today I went walking alone and did some exercises. As I finished the sun was coming up out over the ocean.

There is some construction going on down there and there was a tiny concrete truck.
We got away on our walk and the weather was perfect. We headed down to get a look at the cruise ship. On the way we walked past a small restaurant we pass every time. It is right on the water.
Something tells me they meant to say bar and sea food.

There were several people swimming, just a nice day. We started back and caught the tail end of some sort of practice going on at the old military fort. They had their swords out and were marching around, their marching reminds me of running in place.

While we were watching this old couple came and started talking to us. They are from england on the cruise and only here til dark. We returned home for our district meeting. The senior couple on the other island are still very afraid of covid living in masks so even though we were less than 10 people thus not mandated to wear them I put a mask on the speaker to protect everyone from the virus passing on the internet.
Right after lunch we left making visits we visited the house where the small dog comes out and barks at us. I put this picture in for my grandkids.

we came home and went to an activity at the church. It was really good. We just need to invite more people. We drove down to the ocean on our way home from dropping the elders from ribeira grande off. The cruise ship was gone and it was quiet. It is good to be back to normal again. We love you all.
