It’s p-day. It looked like rain as it does every Monday. Even though I had purchased new tires just last week we had a low tire warning light on. We went over to the tire store and when the lady came out to see I noticed the silver head of a screw in one of the front tires.
You can see it here. Strange that it took as long to repair the one tire as to put on 4 new ones. We stopped off for the elders and then we were off. We headed to the peaceful pine forest again as it is close it looked like it was going to rain and I just like it. We started off visiting the deer and even though i didn’t take any pictures I enjoyed petting the deer through the fence. We hiked around and up to the lookout tower. It was gray and cloudy not a beautiful day as we have had before. We were not there to long when looking out I noticed the rain out over the ocean headed our way. No need for one of those weather girls to tell me we were going to get wet. I predicted rain in 10 to 15 minutes and hurried grandma along. 11 minutes later and 5 from the car it started raining and we just got in when it really rained hard. I had brought a small lunch which we ate in the car then left for a drive I like along the ocean visiting a light house and an old whale watching hut. There the rain let up and a small rainbow formed out on the ocean. It was the shortest one I have ever seen, but doesn’t show up well.
Driving home on the highway off in the distance I noticed a tower standing up out of the trees and since we were there I decided to investigate. It’s nice to go see things when you want because you have a car. The tower turned out to be a bell tower of a church.
Nothing special but here is this town in the middle of nowhere with extremely narrow streets with the typical houses sharing walls and hundreds if not thousands of little houses. What do all these people do who live here? We stopped off to shop and I had to get another picture of the cod fish in a special for Christmas little alcove.
I bought barbecued chicken for lunch.
We returned home ate attended the mission meeting by way of zoom, and just stayed out of the rain. It is supposed to rain all week. We love you all.

Hope it don't rain all week rain on p-day just normal I'm getting use to it I have been wondering how they all make a living there too do you know the population there do they have social programs that pay you not to work like here
It’s amazing how much more freedom a car brings you, so glad that you have it more often! You seem happier too being able to get out of the house even when it’s raining 🌧
I could barely see the rainbow and it took a minute for me to find it. That bell tower looked like a fancy giant mansion for a minute. Love you guys! Love Ashley!
