Monday November 29

Today is p-day. But first we were up and gave a ride to elder Tonicliffe to the airport at 4:30. We went for a drive down town while we were out and about and since there was no traffic. Not much to see that early in the morning. The elders wanted to sleep so we set off for some new areas. While leaving town we came upon an accident scene where a pedestrian got clobbered by a car. I keep reminding grandma she needs tobe more aware and hustle when crossing streets.

We wanted to go to the farthest north part of the island and drive there along the east coast. That way when we arrived and drove back down the west coast we would have been completely around the perimeter of the island during our travels here. For a good portion of the trip we had already been there and done that. But things change when we are driving ng and can stop when we want. We saw this man made waterfall in a park and found fish tanks and pretty fall colors on the trees.

As you can see the fish tanks cause a selfie. Cool sidewalk art too. We drove and came to where there had been a huge mudslide. Last week one day as mentioned in my blog we had an amazing rain. It caused many mudslides and this was one.

We see this type of event or it’s remains often in the Selway where we hunt. It closed the road and would have meant a long long detour. We arrived at the northern point.

The sign says skinny point. We drove along the coast it had many nice views. This is a more affluent part of the island so nicer homes less row houses larger churches mowed lawns nicer roads. The people are more spread out.

The lighthouse should look familiar as we have been here before. We were told the road down was damaged in the rain storm so we didn’t go down this time. We drove back on the western coast a much faster way home as it is mostly 4 lane highway. We arrived home took it easy had our mission zoom meeting then went for a drive and walk down town. We will use the pictures on a day when we don’t get out due to rain or meetings or such. Fun day. We love you all.

Hallie grandma would make a great witch. There are good ones you know. Our mission president has 3 children 17, 15, and 5. I am determined to learn to like fish. After all why go somewhere and try to change it into something else. I am trying to change me into something else.

That is quite a big age gap between your mission president's last 2 kids 15 and 5, WOW! Love the views and the fish are so cool Caleb would love to see them in real life some of them even look like Parana. And it is so that they can put them in a tank outside. Does anybody come by and feed them? Beautiful area. Love you both so much! Love Ashley!
