Sunday November 7

Christmas lights in the store windows on our way home. Yesterday in the shopping mall they are playing Christmas songs. Well another day without pictures and rather mundane. Being Sunday we had a bit of time before heading out for church. We arrived and there were really no new people attending. I conducted the meeting so I was first to bear my testimony then granma came up with one of the members she has been working with on helping have the courage to bear her testimony. They both did well. We went home and Laura called and we watched Whitney sing at the temple corner stone laying. It looked cold. It is really nice here today the wind has let up and the sun is shining, 70 degrees. I made cake for the fireside and used the new mixer. It is nicer than ours back home. The fireside was okay and then a meeting with the distict leaders after so another walk home way after dark. But this time grandma was with us. We called all the kids and even talked to Cherie. So far we will stay here and continue on. We love you all.

Another picture of the newest deacon he just looks good.

Are you going to get a Christmas tree soon, and decorations? The lights look so pretty in the stoor, especially when it's dark out and they leave them on throughout the night. Love you both! Love Ashley!

What brand is the new mixer? Proud of Marcia bearing her testimony and being an example to the people of your branch!

That is really neat of mom to go up by herself. Did she speak in Portuguese or English? Either way, good job mom, and good job dad for conducting and bearing your testimony! Life is so busy and kids grow up too fast. Just as Jim said, your new Deacong will be a missionary soon.
Love,
Laura
