Today started out normal. Aftee my solo walk we waited until 10:00 when the elders wanted to go walking with us. Elder Nelson the one who has been here only 6 weeks leaves tomorrow and when the missionaries return we will have a new fresh from the states missionary. We walked our usual route with a few stops to show the departing elder some sites he hadn’t seen. We visited the old church from 1584 and grandma said look a church with steps. 2 out of 3 for Drew. We went by some parks with pretty flowers, and stores with Christmas decorations. Grandma still looks at nativity sets a lott.
One clothing store grandma pointed out was using dried leaves in the window just like her.Realizing that the departing elder did not have any souvenirs from here I led us to one of my favorite souvenir shops. An hour later we were ready to go after the missionaries had made a few purchases. Grandma got to look at several nativity sets.We headed home and in the car parked by the house with the only boat in the driveway we have seen in Ponta Delgada was a hat.We had lunch with a member. I remembered a little late to take pictures.
There was a neat wood snowman, I think someone in our group should make one .
We stopped off so the missionary could tell some members goodbye and we had a nice supper later together. I made cake they’re finally turning out great. We love you all.

Glad you have mastered your cake making skills in Portugal, I’m sure the Elders really appreciate it!
